First time here. Visiting family in the area and came here because of the reviews. The most important thing about breakfast is good coffee and good ingredients. This place hit both just perfect for my palate. Next time I'm in town, I'll stop by again.
As a former Branford High Hornet from a long line of Branford High Hornets this place was so nostalgic! All of the photos and articles on the walls made such a great atmosphere. My family and I were visiting from out of town for a few days and came here twice for breakfast. I wish we had been able to swing one more breakfast sandwich because the food here is outstanding! Perfectly seasoned egg and cheese on a roll, great omelets, fast and adorable. Next time we are in town we will definitely be trying the lunch options.
Great grinder! I had the steak bomb and it was delicious! It was lunchtime rush when I stopped and the place was packed. I called ahead and the grinder was waiting when I got there.
Great spot to know for the trip south from MA to NY. Sandwiches were excellent, cookies delicious and great coffee/tea stand. You can sit or take away.
Great spot! We stopped here on our way to Massachusetts. All three kids had a delicious sandwich while playing checkers. They have asked to stop at the Hornet's Neat on our way back. Huge win- we also loved the decor of all the local sports teams. It is worth the detour!
Love this little spot. Always super busy food is awesome, great customer service, choose your eat in or take out. The sandwich combos are very delicious. Their salads are phenomenally huge. Love their chef salad! W/ Ranch peppercorn Give it a try!
So good looking sandwiches! This deli is not only a great take out spot but also has lots of indoor seating. The staff at the counter were friendly and provided quick service. The sandwiches are on the expensive side but definitely filling. The bacon on the Sweet Pete sandwich was perfectly crispy and the Lumberjack sandwich was full of flavor. The bread with a little dry so I definitely recommend adding a sauce to your sandwich!
Super great Italian, beautifully dressed. The roasted red peppers were clutch, and staff was super understanding when my duplicate and old CC got denied. The place looked like a good spot to sit down and eat your lunch too! The Italian was BOMB!
Great sandwich selection with all different types of breads, rolls, wraps, and paninis. Breakfast order passed by me, and I almost wanted that instead of my roast beef sandwich. It looked good. Friendly staff, clean interior. I pass by this place a lot & was always curious. Happy I stopped in. I love finding a new convenient breakfast lunch place to eat.
